I had had a late start today because one of my brakes was sticking, and I had to wait for Ken, who among many other talents is a master mechanic, to repair it. Serves me right, as I should have gone on at least a short ride after I cleaned the bike yesterday. Another rider was having issues with her gears, so we rode together, about 1 1/2 hours behind everyone else. Fortunately, we had to go only 40 miles to Blanco, Texas, a lovely ride through the Hill Country.
Seen along the way. Today was one of the clearest skies of the trip.
Once we arrived in Blanco, we had time to explore an interesting town, including a great cowboy hat store.
More scenes from our walk through town.
