one of my readers commented that the longer the ride, the shorter my posts. That holds true today. We started soon after dawn, that is, 7:45, to ride 72 miles to Brady, Texas. We had 2700 feet of climbing, and some headwinds, but they were not nearly as fierce as yesterday. It was 45 degrees when we started, and only 55 at our destination. Not many pictures because I was wearing finger gloves not compatible with a touch screen. We went through one small town along the way, otherwise just endless woods, range, and scrubby chaparral, most of it fenced. In addition to more different breeds of cattle than I can count, we also see lots of goats, some sheep, horses, and the occasional llama.
Sunrise, also breakfast time.
A long road, decent surface most of the way, and not too much traffic.
