In the Old West

We rode 63 miles, mostly with a tailwind.  The roads are mostly chip seal, which is bumpy but has the advantage of allowing us to hear vehicles behind us at a fair distance.  We saw lots of trees and little else until we arrived in Cold Spring, which has an historic downtown.  We are staying at a place called Sunday Houses.  Originally they were places where people who had to travel long distances would stay when they came to town for church.  Now the ones we are staying in are listed on VRBO.
