A harp and gargoyles

The group rode 53 miles into Great Falls today.  I opted to spend the day with my cousin, who lives just outside Choteau, and she drove me down to join with the group at dinner.  I'm trying to decide if I have to make up the miles.  Can I count the miles I've ridden on our rest day?  Such are the issues with which I'm grappling.
We are staying at the Ursaline Retreat Center in Great Falls.  While the Ursaline Order of nuns did have many schools for the education on Native American girls, this huge building, opened in 1912, was an academy and boarding school for the young ladies of Great Falls.  The pictures and momentos throughout the building are a fascinating piece of history.

Relaxing at my cousin's house with PJ and Rudy.

A harp, imported from France, in the bishop's parlor of the former Academy.

One of the only four gargoyles in the state of Montana.

Dramatic view of the city and horizon from the roof of the building.  Lovely as they are, the clouds portend rain tomorrow.
